General & Family Services we offer
Children’s Dentistry
Children’s dentistry, also known as pediatric dentistry, is a branch of dentistry that focuses on the oral health of infants, children, and adolescents. Pediatric dentists specialize in providing age-appropriate dental care, addressing issues such as tooth development, preventive measures, and treatment of dental problems unique to young patients. The goal is to promote good oral hygiene habits early on and ensure a positive dental experience for children to maintain lifelong dental health.

Dental Cleanings & Exams
Dental cleaning and examination involve professional cleaning of teeth to remove plaque and tartar, followed by a thorough assessment of oral health. During the examination, a dentist checks for cavities, gum disease, and other oral issues, aiming to prevent and detect problems early for optimal dental health. Regular dental cleanings and examinations are essential for maintaining oral hygiene and preventing dental problems.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of molars and premolars to help prevent tooth decay. These plastic coatings act as a barrier, sealing off the grooves and fissures where bacteria and food particles can accumulate, reducing the risk of cavities in the back teeth.

Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride treatment is a dental procedure in which a concentrated form of fluoride, a natural mineral, is applied to the teeth to strengthen enamel, prevent tooth decay, and reduce sensitivity. This treatment is often performed at dental offices through gels, foams, or varnishes, or it can be administered at home using fluoride-containing toothpaste or mouthwash.
Tooth Extractions
Tooth extraction is a dental procedure involving the removal of a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. Dentists typically recommend extraction when a tooth is extensively decayed, damaged beyond repair, or affected by advanced periodontal disease. Additionally, crowded teeth or the need for orthodontic treatment may warrant the removal of one or more teeth to create space in the mouth.
The extraction process begins with the administration of a local anesthetic to numb the area around the tooth. In some cases, sedation may be used to help the patient relax during the procedure. Once the tooth and surrounding area are numb, the dentist uses specialized instruments to loosen the tooth in its socket before gently extracting it. After extraction, patients are provided with post-operative care instructions to promote healing and prevent complications. Tooth extraction is a common and generally routine dental procedure conducted to alleviate pain, prevent infection, or address various oral health concerns.
