At Northshore Smiles, we use that information to explain what we see, answer your questions, and build a personalized plan around your needs.

TMJ & jaw joints

Evaluation of jaw movement, comfort, range of motion, and signs such as clicking, tenderness, or restricted movement.

Soft tissue exam

Neck & lymph nodes

External head-and-neck screening may include checking relevant tissues and lymph nodes for unusual changes.

Frequent acid exposure can contribute to enamel erosion. We look for patterns of wear and discuss appropriate next steps when concerns are present.

Tooth wear, grinding, or certain oral findings may prompt a conversation about sleep, clenching, or other contributing factors.
